DB Error #1366 When Fetching Emails
Recently we started receiving DB Error #1366
when OSTicket fetches emails. I tried applying fixes for inline images and also applied the fix posted in the following thread:http://osticket.com/forums/project.php?issueid=190
So far, nothing has resolved the issue. The error message contains the body of the email, ending in the following:Incorrect string value: 'xA0x0Dx0AxA0x0Dx0A...' for column 'message' at row 1
When these messages appear in the ticketing system, they appear with nothing in the Ticket Thread and a reply cannot be added. Also, the ticket cannot be closed through a reply or internal note. Any attachments on the email are not posted to the ticket.
This issue began about a month ago. Prior to that, I have not seen this error.
We are running OST version 1.6 ST on a Windows 2008 R2 server. Emails are sent using SMTP and fetched through POP from an Exchange 2010 server. PHP version is 5.3.15.
