msSQL vs. MySQL

Has anyone hacked OST so that it can work with a MSSQL db?
OR people of OST, where are the points that tell OST to ONLY work with MySQL?

Well, I guess you'd be more than welcome to port OST from mysql to mssql. After all it is only some db scripting and a few code changes...

    :)
  • sure except we haven't been able to find the locations of those db entries in the code. If you have any insight, please let me know
  • hello? anyone from OST? or anyone else? can the system work with PHP and MSSQL? does anyone know where the hooks are to tell it to use MSSQL instead of MYSQL?
  • MySQL is the only supported database at the moment. As breakdaice mentioned you can look into adding msSQL support.
