Hello,
Looked at your wiki instructions on setting up piping and could not get it to work. New to setting up piping and need some info.
Okay, I have an default email address set up for osticket as suport@xxx.com (exp) Next I see other emails set up by the system as alerts@xxx.com and noreply@xxx.com and then there is my admin email that I have with gmail.
Now, for my hosting account, do I need to set up emails alerts@xxx.com and noreply@xxx.com. I already have support@xxx.com set up at my hosting site.
Under osticket, I see an email set up as support@xxx.com, do I need to add emails alerts@xxx.com and noreply@xxx.com to ostickets?
Can someone explain how the piping works, I googled piping, but I am still confused and also ran into a lot of issues that other people are having with setting up piping with ostickets.
Tell me also, once I get the jist of things, do I need to modify any files to get this ticket system to work. If so, this can cause great confusion to me as well as others. (I know its free), but would rather try to install then have them set it up. Money constraints.
Also, could you please summerize how this piping works so i can get a better picture?
Regards,
Keith Borom
