Only Receive Emails when i log in

When a client emails to OS Ticket our staff will not receive the new ticket email alert until someone logs into OS Ticket. Once they do, it emails fine. I need it to email as soon as a client sends and email to OS Ticket regardless if someone logs in or not. Most topics i see here are about no email alerts getting sent period. Mine works, but just after someone logs in.
