OK, I've got an issue plaguing me with your packages.
When I go to do a setup, each of the fields has something to the effect of this showing in it:
<?=$info?>
Also the Errors/Warn/Msg sections on the installer show just their color bar at the top w/no information or hidden (for the same invalid syntax as above).
Now I've been able to work around this by pulling bits and pieces from the scripts and manually inserting the SQL and setting the ostconfig.php file.
However I'm unable to do anything on the site because I get the same things in different areas. It makes believe that I am logged in, however prompts me still for an email and ticket id (as if on the front pages) with similar text in the input box as demonstrated above.
Also, when I try to login to the Admin panel (after the tedious manual configuration), I am presented with a page not found and the address box pointing to http://myhost/tickets/<?=$dest?>
Now there are a lot of files that are associated with each part of the script, so I would imagine the same problems are presented all over the place.
Is there a WORKING version of osTicket available? I've tried both the v1.6 RC4 and RC3, both the .ZIP and .tar.gz packages.
This is for testing purposes on a private home computer running Windows XP with Apache Server 2.2, PHP 5.2.5, and MySQL 5.0.67
Thanks.
