I've made a test ticket and on creation of the ticket it does not provide the ticket id, therfor doesn't allow members to check there ticket status.
How do I fix this problem?

Did you use a valid e-mail?
Yup i recived the email but didnt get na id.
Ok, in your admin panel go to:
E-mails > Templates
At the top template the title should be something like "New Ticket Opened "
right?
