My Nagios is sending mail alerts to a mail account. Can osTicket receive these mails and automatically open a ticket?

That would be great for me too!!
should just be able to sue the piping feature.
send those emails to a separate mailbox (ie: nagiosalert@domain.com) and have osticket check that via a cron job.
create a separate email box for those alerts and use a cron job to check that mailbox.
