This today I was given the task of creating an internal task list and time management system. I could have just pull in another piece of os software and started hacking that in to shape, but I decided to create a new section for os ticket instead. so far I have only created the task list part, but it allows for internal tasks to be added and assigned to staff members using the osticket rights. departments can only see tasks for their own department and can only create for the same. admin can do everything.
This is not a simple cut and past mod and requires new tables and files to be added to osticket. If anyone thinks its worth me posting this as an add on I'll pack it up with install info and post it as a beta. Let me know.

This is the first part or a larger add on that will include time management systems allowing time slots to be assigned to each task and ticket. it will also have a table outlining assigned time usage so we can see when we have downtime and can plan accordingly, then assign the lager tasks without over lapping. It will also allow us to account for staff 'disappearances' more easily

UPDATE Sat 29th Aug 2009: I have just attached the first version on this add-on to this post. Please try it out and make any suggestions you think will help improve it. As this is a first release, code notes and documentation are few. I will when I have time document the code. First I have work on getting all the function in there. UPDATE Wed 2nd Sept 2009: Uploaded 0.2Beta. This version includes the first version of the scheduler, plus added forms to edit tasks (incomplete) and fixed a few bugs found in version 0.1 The schedule should be finished in a few days. Until then please try and let me know if you find any bugs or have any suggestions.
UPDATE Thu 3rd Sept 2009: Uploaded version 0.21. Corrected file locations and enabled schedule links to task views
UPDATE Sat 5th Sept 2009: Version 0.3Beta upload. Replaced missing files in version 0.21. added roll over info for schedule, completed add and edit task forms and functions. NOTE This version uses new mysql table setup please remove old task tables and use the sql data included to build the new ones. As this is a beta there are no doc, but check out the source for info on how it works and what is still to be done.
UPDATE Wen 9th Sept 2009: Uploaded version 0.35Beta fixed problem with SQL file.
UPDATE Thu 10th Sept 2009: Uploaded version 0.5Beta. Read the README file for changes. , but in brief I have added notes to tasks and fixed a bunch of bugs. apart from warping tasks across multiple days its finished. The next version will be version 1 final and should be done in a few weeks as I'm going on vacation and don't think I'll be doing much.
