first of all I want to thank you for the osticket system. I like the clarity and the simplicity of the system. No customer has to read a manual to answert to a ticket...
But I miss a function to manage my customers. I want to group them by their companies and give one person on each group the right to see all requests from their company. In my case the customers are all well known and so I think it's a kind of an add-on to the whitelist-idea against spammer. Ok, it's a big add-on :) but the key could be the email-adress.
Of course I have also other ideas and wishes but the most of them are already in the forum. Maybe a central wishlist or a roadmap in the wiki could help us to see "what's already in the pipeline"
I talk about things like
- edit posts in the ticket system
- support language files
- attach files while ticket creation with the web interface
- logs for sent mails
- due date for tickets (and a view to see what's urgent today)
- time recording
- sort the ticket list after the FROM-column
and there are a lot other interesting suggestions in the forum.
