Hi guys.
I just installed OSTicket on my site. Everything works fine. The email goes out and all that. But when customer clicks on email link, it will take it to the ticket listing and when they click on ticket it will say access denied. What is the deal and how do i fix it..

I'm having the same problem, everything else is fine.
I just installed using Fantastico on cPanel on a server that is only a few months old (it's mine!), I'm using version 1.3.1

Please upgrade to the latest version. All versions prior to 1.6 are discontinued and for the most part unsupported.

Click User CP. Then click 'List Subscriptions'. Select delete subscription.
nuts, I'm really miffed Fantastico is carrying the old version.
So as I figure it, I need to ditch the entire thing and start again?
Yes, version 1.3.x is really outdated. So using the latest version is the best thing to do.

Upgrading from 1.3.1 to 1.6
Hello Peter, is there a link to instructions to upgrade from the fantastico version (1.3.1) to the latest?
osTicket v1.6 is a complete rewrite with new database schema and code base. Therefor it is not possible to do an upgrade from older versions.
The only thing you could do is install the new version and then create a script to migrate your tickets from the old version to the new one.
