Hi,
In my environment I have both a web server, and then an e-mail server (Exchange). I successfully setup OsTicket and had a successful installation. However, when a user submits a new ticket, there's no confirmation e-mail with their ticket number, and my specified support e-mail address does not get the ticket e-mail. I've read through the issues here on the forums regarding this, but I think in my particular case this is a little more unique for my type of environment. The web and mail server are on the same network, but I need to enable mail relaying for the mail to hit the Exchange server.
I logged into the administration panel and then navigated to E-mails > My specified support e-mail > and tried to enable POP3 settings to that of the username and password of my support e-mail address on the Exchange server.
I got the error message of "IMAP doesn't exist. PHP must be compiled with IMAP enabled.". I checked my "php.ini" file to see that IMAP was enabled, and the corresponding .dll file was in the /ext/ folder residing for PHP. Maybe I'm overlooking something, but I can't seem to figure out why this keeps happening this way. Any help? My specifications are below:
Apache 2.0.59
PHP 5.1.5
MySQL 5.0.45
