I was logged into the admin panel for the first time where I setup two new admin accounts. I logged off to test the new accounts and could no longer log back in. Every time I enter the correct information it returns the Authentication Required message from the main.inc.php. If I try an invalid password it returns Invaild Login. The same thing happens when I try to check new tickets I created.
With error reporting on I am getting an error...
PHP Warning: ini_set() : A session is active. You cannot change the session module's ini settings at this time. in C:\Inetpub\osTicket\main.inc.php on line 36
If I comment out that just that line no error messages show. I have also comment out line 38 as suggested by another thread. I also tried adding the session refresh lines that other threads have said to move (they don't exist in this version).
All the information is making it to the MySql server as I can see the information manually. Although there is an error in the log that says... Aborted connection 6 to db: 'osticket' user: 'root' host: 'localhost' (Got an error reading communication packets)
I am running a Windows 2003 Server with IIS6 that I installed PHP5.2.5, MySql6.0.4, and osTicket 1.6.rc4. Configuration files of the installed programs may be wrong. Session information is being created in the PHP session folder; I have tried deleting it with no change.
I have tried so many other things I can't remember. I am pretty certain that the problem is with PHP session settings with a slight possibility of the main.inc.php file. Please if anyone has any suggestions let me know.
Thanks
