Ok, here is my situation... I'd like to use osTicket within a private network setting inside my organization. There is no need or concern of having spammers posting tickets, all that security is being handled from an organizational level. So the only people who will have access to the site will be behind our firewalls and already be authenticated using LDAP & Kerberos through Active Directory.
So what I'd like to do is obviously keep the administrative stuff password protected, but I want our users to be able to just hit the main page, submit a ticket, check ticket status, view a list of open tickets without ever having to be authenticated to begin with. If I could get those things accomplished we'd be pretty much up and running.
Is there anyone currently doing this that could point me in the right direction as far as how to accomplish this?
I would appreciate any help or advice. Unfortunately, this is only one of many projects on my plate so the quicker I could get it done the better, and unfortunately I don't have the luxury of spend all day just working on this.
Thanks
