I am running osTicket 1.6 RC4 using POP3. I am getting all of the emails sent to the support mailbox but attachments are getting dropped. I can however upload attachments from both the customer web interface and the admin/staff web interface.
Any ideas?
Are you sure you have "Accept emailed files" checked in the Admin Panel under Settings -> Attachments?
That was the first thing I thought too. I toggled it off and on again (saving each time) and checked the path and looked at the ost_config table too.
And you are sure the attachments are listed in the "Accepted File Types" and that they are not too big?
pretty sure.
i added txt files to the accepted attachments. It was a 4KB file which I assume is small enough (well below the file size specified in the admin panel).
Does the attached filename contains special charaters like äöü ? My system dropped onyl such attachments. normal file names are okay.
But I have no idea to fix this.
