Simple-Help is the cheaper version of TeamViewer. For a lifetime license w/ free incremental updates (and extremely CHEAP upgrade fees) you pay $280 for 1 concurrent license. The upgrade fee is $59 for every major upgrade. It has remote support and presentation options. The thing is, you have to host it, they don't offer hosted versions. So I have a VM setup on my PC at home support.ibytebits.com I can show you how it works if you want, i'll set you up with an account if interested and give you access to back panel. The older version you could remote in using java and didn't have to download anything. The newer version you have to download an exe to allow a remote session to work. If the tech panel could be integrated with osTicket, so anyone that opens a ticket will check a box informing us they have the simple-help client on their end. So when we look at the ticket we can see certain specs and remote in if necessary. Just food for thought :-D
