Language-packs

I would like to announce that I'm currently working on a language-pack system for as a mod for 1.6 rc4. Current plans are that the 'switch' will be hardcoded in one of the main files... If there are any nice options to plug it in to the admin-panel, I'll just modify it at the end...

HOWEVER... I can't ensure that the packs will fully work with manually adjusted systems, because they have their own text and layout. And therefor it's recommended to start from this system and start over again...

I will keep you all informed on my progress!

  • Hi Klopper,

I am very interested in your language-pack project for osticket? What is it's status?

Is there any somewhat stable version available?

    Greetings

  • so... any progress?
  • What's the status of this? Or should we be using (the seemingly unofficial) multilanguage one?
  • Yes, I would like to know if there is any progress on this. I know Carlos delfino was working on this too. But the currrent osTicket 1.6RC5 has not multi language support as in the possibility to change the language in the configuration of the osTicket admin after adding the language file as far as I can see. I have translated the file provided by Carlos but would like some help upgrading the files to make it work. Maybe this can be done in cooperation with the osTicket team and turned into RC6?
