Receive email on closed tickets

A manager has requested that he receive a email when his staff closes a ticket.  Can someone tell me how to do this?  I found a email template "%{ticket.staff}" but I am not sure that this is what I need to do.  Thanks

    Seriously though, there is no "on close trigger" currently, and there is no subscription to tickets as of now either.  They could be added as a collaborator if you are running 1.8.1+ but since you posted in the 1.6 forums I find that unlikely.  Also even 1.8.1 does not have an on close send an email to a manager option.  You would have to edit the source files to implement this sort of thing.

    You do realize that 1.6 is no longer being actively supported right?
