Hello,I'm wondering if I could mod the class.ticket.php to send a closing notification to ticket owner. the reason i need this because we do have a survey system that i need a link to be sent to the ticket owner after our team has closed the ticket.I'll really appreciate if anyone help me on this.
Figured it out by myself.here is the code I've added under close ticket function in class.ticket.php to send out an html format email:$header = 'MIME-Version: 1.0' . "\r\n";$header .= 'Content-type: text/html; charset=iso-8859-1' . "\r\n";$header .= "From: sendernamehere <emailaddress@yourdomain.com>";$subj= "Ticket #" .$this->getExtId(). " with the following details has been closed<br>"."<strong>Topic:</strong> " .$this->getHelpTopic(). That is something what should be in standard features!
Additionally I would love to see:
-closing of old cases after certain time of inactivity (is this already possible?)
-allow user for closing his ticket by clicking some email link
