When client looks at the Knowledgebase/FAQ, they have a drop down to choose the subset of articles to look at by Help Topic.
In the drop down, after the Help Topic, there is a number in parentheses which indicated the total number of articles marked with that Help Topic. This is confusing to users because they expect to see that same number of articles returned in their search results, but only see the ones that are public. So while the topic subset may show 26 total articles, only 12 are public and only those 12 would return in the search results.
My suggestion is that the client KB/FAQ Help Topic drop down shows only the number of public articles so the clients aren't confused or looking for additional articles they cannot see.
