I prefer the checking of ticket status without sending through email just like the previous version (1.8) How do I change it back to that? Please help!
I have no idea what your asking... since you can check ticket status in every version of osTicket. I repeat you do not need send emails at all if you dont want to... (but probably should)
1.9.1 ticket status page by default is asking for email and ticket number right? then the button says something about sending the link through email.
