On v1.9.2 I encountered the exact same thing. One way I was able to prevent this from happening was to disable the following setting:Login to the SCP/Admin portion of your site Admin Panel -> Settings -> Tickets (Ticket Settings and Options) & uncheck the box for "Enable HTML Ticket Thread:"Unfortunately, that's the only workaround I've found so far. I've also noticed that disabling HTML fixes the significant lag experienced by users when they respond to a ticket. It would be nice to be able to leave HTML enabled though. If there's a better solution to this, I'd be happy to know what it is.
