Hi,I've seen that every internal message is empty, the email contains just the Subject. Is it a customization problem or a bug?How can I solve it?Version 1.90
Please help us to help you by providing more info:http://osticket.com/forum/categories/osticket-1.9-troubleshooting-and-problemsAdditionally can you give a better description about the problem and btw I suggest to update to the latest stable version (1.9.3) which is available at www.osticket.com/download
Internal messages are messages that are logged in osTicket.Emails are external messages sent to clients/users or staff.I'm of the opinion that you are saying that you are getting blank emails (external messages) when you open them in your email client. I imagine that this is the bug that is talked about here: https://github.com/osTicket/osTicket-1.8/issues/950My recommendation is that you upgrade to 1.9.1+.
Hi ntozier and thanks for your answer. Anyway my problem is with the internal messages: they are sent and received regularly, but theur body is empty. There's just the subject. The external emails are perfect.
So your staff are logging into the web ui, and they are getting blank ticket updates?
Hi ntozier,I've checked and now I can say that internal emails have empty body text only in Outlook Client. With Gmail, for example, they are perfect. What can be the difference?
That sounds exactly like the bug described here: https://github.com/osTicket/osTicket-1.8/issues/950My recommendation is that you upgrade to 1.9.1+.
Yes ntozier,I've installed the 1.9.4 RC2 and have found the error where is: include/class.mailer.php at line 177modified in this way: $mime = new Mail_mime("\n");Now everything is ok.
Excellent. Should I close this thread then?
yes, thank you
