One feature my users have requested is that OSticket add the ability to assign tickets to individuals when selecting a help topic during web-based ticket submission.As of right now, from what I can see, you can only assign tickets to Departments when you configure Help Topics. (Please correct me if this is wrong)Is this something anyone else would like to see in a future release of OSticket?
Are you wanting the user to be able to select an individual (generally a bad idea)?Or are you wanting the admin to be able to auto-assign tickets based on the chosen Help Topic (already a feature of Ticket Filters)?Jack
Help Topics can already assign to individuals.Admin panel -> Manage -> Help Topics -> YOURHELPTOPIC -> Auto-assign To: pick the employee
I personally don't like the idea and will not be using it for my osticket install, however our cad team, for whatever reason, would like the ability to do the above.Right now I'm utilizing the solution mentioned by ntozier.
