Unable to connect through SMTP

I have hosted a website '' than I created an email address named ''
The problem is I can configure the outgoing email address on outlook but I am unable to configure that email address to my ticket system... The error I see is:

Failed to connect to [SMTP: Failed to connect socket: Connection timed out (code: -1, response: )]


  • hey,
    try to use Port Number: 25 (or 26) and turn off "Authentication Required"
  • "Connection time out".  Sounds to me like your web server doesn't have permission to talk to your mail server, and/or that there is a firewall blocking the connection.
