osTicket v1.10 (stable) and Maintenance Release v1.9.15 are now available! Go get it now
I've got osTicket all setup and mostly functional. I can open and close tickets, etc. However, I am unable to have it send/receive emails. This is likely some confusion on my part.
A slackware 12.0 server, working Apache, MySQL, and PHP (as near as I can tell; I've never used PHP for anything, but all the osTicket pages work ok.) setup.
I've never configured a mail server which is what it looks like I need for this missing functionality. Is there a walk-through for this sort of thing that someone has found particularly helpful?
My domain uses Google apps for email, is there any particular issues involved with that?
