osTicket 1.7 RC2 working with Exchange 2010
Virtual Machine running Server 2008 with apache and osTicket installed.
System settings > Email
Default System Email (helpdesk@mydomain.com)
Alert Email (helpdesk@mydomain.com)
Email Polling Enabled
Email Piping Disabled
Default Outgoing Email (helpdesk@mydomain.com)
Under helpdesk email
POP account
Internal IP address Port 110
Username: helpdesk
Password:
SMTP settings
Internatl IP Port 25
No authentication required
Using Email diagnostic shows test email successful to internal and external recipients
Create a ticket from client side and admin gets alert but client does not.
At this point I just want to can it, can I just disable smtp and pop all together and just used built in php? If so how can I do this?
