For some reason when I disable in Autoresponder "New Message" where it says: "(Confirmation notice sent when a new message is appended to an existing ticket)" -- it still sends out emails confirmations to the customer side saying that the ticket was updated when the customer updates the ticket (by email or the site), or when their ticket was updated by staff. Not sure if this is a bug?
Perhaps I'm mistaken about what this means? Could someone explain what it means by " (Confirmation notice sent when a new message is appended to an existing ticket)" in more detail?
