Does 1.7

Have the ability to natively attach responses to the tickets from email? For example. I receive an alert via email using Outlook. I reply to end user, will my reply be attached to the ticket for record keeping?


  • So nobody knows if 1.7 attaches replies via email to the original ticket? That's the biggest feature missing since earlier versions... Has it been overlooked again?
  • Install it and try.. Takes 5 minutes ;)
  • osTicket, for security related reasons, doesn't support staff replies via email - but it's planned. Users can open and reply to tickets via email if enabled.
  • I believe that there is also a mod here in the forums that does enable this type of response.
