Remove requirement to type in something when reassigning a ticket

I find that our ticket assigners are typing in jibberish to get past the requirement to type in some text when reassigning a ticket to a tech.

Is there a way to remove this requirement?



  • I'll have to look at the code but I know it's possible - I used to do this back in version 1.6 or so.  I'll see if I can find it and post. Which version of 1.9 are you running?
  • @Scottro, thanks for the response. I found it a few moments ago. I had to download a program that would let me search through the php files and find the message saying a comment was required. Windows search sucks. Once I found it, I commented it out.

  • I actually search on github when I'm looking for something like that. :)
