[resolved] Attachment plugin

Hi all,

i managed to install the attachment plugin and now need to migrate ost_chunk_file from db to system file. As far as i know there is an automated way to migrate: Use the cli app

php setup/cli/manage.php file migrate --backend D --to F

My real question is, how to use the cli app and run the script. Please if u can instruct me step by step or any reference i can refer to.
For cli app, is it a 3rd party software or is it can be run from cmd?
Thanks in advance.

could u tell me how do u usually run script.
Thank you btw for your reply
  • Q: Can it be run from original cmd?
A: I have no idea what you mean.

Q: When i run it said "could not open input file: setup/cli/manage.php"
A: Did you provide the full path to manage.php script?  Were you in your root osTicket directory? Does your user account have access to the file?

Q: could u tell me how do u usually run script.
A: I generally don't. But if I did I would change to my root osTicket dir and run the command :
php setup/cli/manage.php file migrate --backend D --to F

  • Thanks ntozier. Now i can run the script. Thank you so much
