Add new ticket state filter

I created one more ticket status called "work in progress".
The default ticket state are open, answered, overdue, close.

I wanted to add one more state called "work in progress" and show on the sub menu, as below image red pointer
After i change the ticket status to work in progress, it will same as the overdue show the number of work in progress ticket.
when i click on work in progress only show me the work in progress ticket.

Anyone can advice me how to do that?

  • There is no way to do that at this time in the ui. 
    You would have to alter the source.
  • could you guide me how to do that, or list me what is the related file.
  • can any one suggest how to add  ticket filter for ticket details.
    I want to generate Auto response on the basis of some keyword in ticket details or summary. Can anybody did this.
