I am a Vivid user of osticket 1.6 and to my wonder 1.7 is way beyond my expectations. I had certain concerns in 1.6 which were perfectly understood and fixed such as
1. end user login with just email id and ticket number, now in 1.7 there is a token along with it as an auth factor. Great !
2. The "Email Reply" Checkbox option given to tickets when handling (so the staffs handling the ticket can decide if a email should go to the custoer or not, perfect!)

I am looking for just 2 more options, which are already available as mod for version 1.6
1. Changing the due date of a ticket on the same ticket page, instead of navigating to the edit ticket option.
2. Adding a CC and BCC option with auto suggest on it retrived from the database.
3. Most important, This is a bug i noticed. When i create "canned response" such a beautiful option, which is similar to the previous versions premade templates, however in canned response we can also attach some files that could be sent to the customers. However i am able to upload files on the canned response templates, but they arent going as a mail to the customer nor the attachment is shown when the specific canned response is selected. In my case i tried attaching PDF and TXT file, they got attached in the canned response page but not on the ticket or the email to the customer.
Please help on these 3 points.
