[resolved] Locked out of osticket - LDAP Auth enabled

Today our osticket installation is refusing to authenticate my Microsoft AD users.
So no one can login, not even the defined Admins.
What is the procedure to reset the default admin account so we can regain access to the system?
We are using OT 1.10


  • 1. Always have one user with database login
    Go into ost_staff and id 1 is the default user account usually an admin ... change backend to NULL or local and it will use the mysql database.
  • Forgot to mention Im using plugins/auth-ldap.phar latest release on osticket site.
  • Thanks, the problem was that the user configured for the LDAP plugin had an expired password. So the auth was not taking place.
    Password was corrected and everybody is back online.thanks.
