Is the drop down a fixed list or from a table in the database.
If you simply have a list fixed list of items, you can change the open.inc.php page as follows:
look for the following (around line 75)
<tr>
<td class="required">Subject:</td>
<td>
<input id="subject" type="text" name="subject" size="40" value="<?php echo $info; ?>">
<font class="error">* <?php echo $errors; ?></font>
</td>
</tr>
Then you can replace it with the following:
<tr>
<td class="required">Subject:</td>
<td>
<select id="subject" name="subject">
<option value="" selected="selected"><?php echo $info; ?></option>
<option value="option1">Option 1</option>
<option value="option2">Option 2</option>
<option value="option3">Option 3</option>
</select>
<font class="error">* <?php echo $errors; ?></font>
</td>
</tr>
The first option value is the one that is selected should the user fail to fill out all required fields. The form will reload with the the info the user DID fill in, and tell them which field was missing.
Then put in all the options you need. If you are pulling the options from your database you will need to use php to cycle through the options and show them. Around line 62 in the open.inc.php shows you how to do this with the Help Topics.
I hope this helps...
