AWS S3 Attachments Not Working

Hi Guys

I've followed the instructions and I'm still having problems getting the attachments to be saved in my S3 Bucket.

I have filled in the values for the plugin and made sure it was enabled.


I've also made sure to select S3 as the location to Store Attachments in Settings -> Tickets.

The IAM user I created (which is set in the config above) has the following S3 Policy permissions.


I don't know what is stopping this from working. What have I missed?

I've tested sending emails with images attached and also creating a ticket from the osTicket webpage and neither work.

I'm running Ubuntu 14.04 and Phar is enabled.



  • On further investigation it appears that any tickets created by a logged in client on the web portal will store the attachments into S3, but any attachments from emails or from guest clients on the web portal are not saved to S3.

    What am I missing here?

    Sounds like a bug.  You may want to report this at github.

    Unfortunately I have never used that plugin so I do not know where to begin to assist you otherwise.
