Reopen tickets

How to allow repoen the closed tickets from user end

  • It's enabled by default... so unless you changed it all they have to do is reply to a system generated email or post a reply in the ui.
  • As ntozier said, unless you changed the settings it should do it automatically.

    I don't recall if we changed the settings either, but my observation:

    CLOSED tickets cannot be reopened by end user (but you/tech can).
    RESOLVED tickets *can* be reopened by end user.

    Note that on closed tickets, the end user can reply to them, and the reply will be posted to the ticket, but it will remain closed.
