is there a php mysql tutorial for osticket 1.7

Comments

  • what do you mean with a php & mysql tutorial for osticket 1.7?
  • yes, or any technical tutorial

    because
    http://upcommons.upc.edu/e-prints/bitstream/2117/12369/1/osticket_report11.pdf

does not include php or mysql
  • I am not aware of specifically any php or mysql tutorial on how to write osTicket. It's already written. There are a large amount of mods (in the mods sections of the forums) which could be seen as mini php tutorials. Some of them also have mysql components.

You could try PMing Peter directly to see if he has anything like you are looking for.
  • peter

I PM Peter a couple days ago, and will let you know the response.

Is there any people that have php notes about what the pages do or what the mysql tables are because there is not much documenation

I know there is no pdf book
  • I don't have any php notes or documentation of the sort you seek. If you're a developer, you should be able to follow the logic of the codebase.
  • do you have any advice

maybe which file/class adds a ticket
or which file/class adds a staff member

 Why don't you simply follow the logic of the code? Install osTicket - go to the page in question - note the file e.g staff.php then dig deeper.

    Good luck.
