I am hosted by pcextreme and they have two services to access emails, via POP at port 110 or IMAP at port 143, both with verification, without SSL.
When I set up osticket with these parameters I get past the setup screen, meaning that it has been able to login.
But then the problem arises that the emails in the inbox of the mail server are not fetched by osticket, neither via POP or IMAP.
If I change the settings from what the host provides, I cannot save those settings because osticket gives an login error, so I know osticket verifies the data.
The problem is, no new tickets are generated by the email inbox. Is there a setting in the department, email, staff that I should look at?
