How to allow the end users to close their own tickets

Hi,

How can we allow the end users to close their own tickets in case they do not feel a need of any more work on it?

Right now if a user wants to close his/her own ticket; it can't be done. Only agents are able to do it.

  • This is not a feature of osTicket, and I'm not aware of any plans to make it one.
  • I'd actually like to see this option, as it means ticket queues can be reduced (when an end user closes a no longer required ticket) and allows agents to focus on the tickets that still require work, rather than working through tickets just to close them.
