  • Your images are broken.
  • This i create on my dekstop

when i check using other desktop, is show like this

is seems the picture not loaded

  • Are you trying to say that when osTicket send an email to the client that they cannot load the images in Outlook?

Current versions of Outlook do not load images immediately unless you tell it to.
  • @ntozier,

I create FAQs with subject outlook, inside that FAQ that i attach screen shot picture (as last comment),
when set to published for FAQs, and browse using others desktop/notebook the picture is not display
    show small cross icon.

using browser such IE, Chrome, Mozilla, opera also same

The picture i attach using "insert image" button, choose the picture then upload.
  • Hello,

We are experiencing the same issue.
Images posted in a KB article are not visible for standard users. (Users not logged in consulting the KB.)
However the images are visible when viewing the SCP version of the KB.

    We are running:
    - osTicket v1.10
    - IIS 8.0.9200.16384
    - PHP 5.6.22
    - MySQL 5.5.46-MariaDB

    User KB:
  • I have the same problem.
Pics are not displayed to normal users. Logged in agents see all.
    Happened after updating from 1.9.14
I have the "attachements on the filesystem" - plugin activated. The folder and it's subfolders have chmod 777.

    Any help is highly appreciated.
  • I found that problem.
Please log in as admin and go to >> settings >> system.
At the buttom you find an option like
Login required: Require login to view any attachments
  • I've reported this thread to devs to take a look at,.
  • Hi @Mike15

    Thanks for share,

but I think the problem still not solve, my opinion when post article to "public" that mean everyone can see what inside there include the attachment ,once the problem not solved then user can open tickets base on article.

    correct me if i wrong

  • Mike15's solution seems to have fixed it for me as well.
Unchecking that option displays the images for standard users again.
