  • This is your third discussion and I believe that so far all of them have boiled down to you using a language pack that wasn't intended for the version of osTicket that you are running.

Please remove the language pack and see if it suddenly works.

yeah, but remember i soved the problem with the languaje pack, I saw in other thread that could be a problema with ajax.

Sorry If Iam doing a lot noise with my first installation.
I'll try to solve this issue, by the way if you any expirience with this problem any light could be healthy.
    Thank you so much.
  • Yes and I want you to remove the language pack and see if solves your issue.
If it does not then the next thing is to have you downgrade your PHP 5.6

thank you so much by your time.
    I don't have languaje pack.

    this is my error.
  • And my second sentence?
  • Following your instructions I did the downgrade of php.
    And the error keep showing.

something wear is the other popup are working fine, so I'm not sure if my problem must be with ajax.
    anyway I make a php.ini configuraction and set cgi.fix_pathinfo = 1
    nothing.

After you changed your PHP configuration did you restart your webserver software?

Also I am not seeing any webserver or php logs for your issue in this thread.

As attachment I let you the error.log file. in order to be clear.

When I uploaded something I can't see it. So I'll paste the error file data.

  • I have tried to test the old version 1.8. Got the same issue. I'm working on digital ocean.
For me the problem is addressed to cgi.fix_pathinfo property.
But even If I change php.ini it doesn't take effect.
In order to be sure about the php.ini file I've changed the timezone and it changed, so I'm editing the right php.ini file.

any light over this issue could be healthy.

  • You should talk to Digital Ocean.
Reason: cgi.fix_pathinfo is specifically  a cgi related directive.  So if your webserver is using PHP as say an Apache module and not cgi, then switching that setting won't do anything since PHP is running as a module and not cgi. Your host Digital Ocean would be able to tell you how PHP is running on their server.

Did you remove any language packs?
Have you downgraded your PHP to 5.6 like I suggested?

    My guess is that this:
[Wed Dec 21 13:06:57.652467 2016] [:error] [pid 11611] [client 148.0.151.222:54647] PHP Warning:  session_start(): Cannot send session cache limiter - headers already sent (output started at /var/www/html/osticket/include/class.forms.php:4270) in /var/www/html/osticket/include/class.ostsession.php on line 86, referer:

is what the actual problem is. Which I think means either your version of PHP or your host is doing some sort of caching that breaks the software.  Seeing as you said you tested an older version and had a similar issue it points even more to PHP being the issue.
  • solve this problem, it was easier that I thought.
The proble is inside the form. custorm form, all field are disable. after enable those field everything is fine.
And I was becoming crazy looking inside php problem
  • Glad you were able to figure it our, and thank you for sharing your solution.
