Hiding Check Ticket Status button on Landing Page

Hello, I'd like to hide the button for 'Check Ticket Status' on the landing page. I've already hidden the link in the top bar, but now I need to hide the green button. This thread says how to do it in an older version but I'd like to know how to do it in 1.10.

    Thanks. Not sure if I did it exactly right but it did work in the end.

    For anyone curious, I changed the 'class="green button"' to 'class="green buttons"' on line 16 which broke the class call. Then commented out 'echo __('Check Ticket Status');' on line 17.
  • For anyone who was looking hide the link at the top:

    Comment out line #356
     #$navs['status']=array('desc'=>__('Check Ticket Status'),'href'=>'view.php','title'=>'');
  • Alternatively one can simply add the following to \assets\default\css\theme.css to hide all references to "Check Ticket Status":

    a[href="view.php"] {
        display: none !important;
    a.status {
        display: none !important;
