So I have two separate "help topics", one being a general technology help request and one being a quote request. I customized the form for the general tech request in the "built in form" and wanted to create a "custom form" for the quote request. However, when I use the custom form which has the "subject" and "message" field set as "Variables", I would think it should create the "Subject" as the title of the ticket and the "Message" as the initial details. However, it just creates the name of the help topic as the title in every instance. You can see what I'm talking about in the pics attached. If I name the variable in the custom form "subject", shouldn't it go in as the title of the ticket? And if I name a big box "message", shouldn't it go in as an initial thread communication like it does for my other form?PS It does ad the "subject" to the ticket details page but on the ticket queue page it only displays the name of the help topic...
