Hi All
I have just finished setup of osticket and am blown away at its functionality, although I cannot get a certain feature to work as I expect it too.
I am currently wishing to enable users to email support@mydomain.com and have osticket generate a ticket number and subsequently email both them and my alerts@mydomain.com account.
At present this does not appear to be happening, it only works once I login into the staff panel and hit the 'refresh' button. At this point in time the emails are sent, the mail is deleted from the support email account and a ticket is created for me to work through.
For your information my email account is hosted at Hostgator and I have setup the email to run as POP. Any help is resolving this, so I do not need to login to my staff panel until I receive notification.
