Good afternoon all,I installed osTicket v.1.10.ProblemEverytime I try to use a help or a function that uses a popup, I get a white/empty box on the screen. Below some examples.By using DevTools feature available in Google Chrome, I get the results you can see in the image below: Error 400 (Bad Request) due to ajax.php file.Additional technical informationIn the image below you can see server information get by osTicket. It seems to be all right, also cgi.fix_pathinfo, that - as I read in other threads of this forum and also of github one - is often the cause of the problem.Field labels are in Italian because I installed it.phar file (that I can confirm since now it is not the cause). I installed osTicket on hosting linux of Register.it (an Italian provider).Php version is 5.6.24, API Php MySql version is 5.5.31, server version is Apache/2.2.14 (Unix).I checked php.ini file and I can confirm that cgi.fix_pathinfo is rightly set as 1.I would be very grateful to anyone who could help me to solve this issue. If further information is needed, please ask me.Thank you in advance.
Are you running any of the following:SELinuxmod_securityanother firewall software on the serverThe short of it is that your webserver (some version of Apache) is blocking the AJAX request.
This is not an answer to your question, but from what I am seeing you need to update your MySQL to a version later than v5.5.x.
Thank you for your reply.@ ntozierI don't know if SELinux, mod_security and/or another firewall software are installed on the server, I'll ask to the provider.@ Synt4xErrorOk, thanks for the suggestion.
Looks like a path issue to me, 400 "not found" type errors, likely because the paths are being modified to the wrong ones. Are you actually using a CGI to access PHP? The default for Apache on Debian is mod_php which isn't a CGI, try turning off fix_pathinfo (I don't use it on mine, and I am using FPM) I would only enable that if you are having those path issues.
I am having the same issue having white blank popups , as soon as I click the link I get following error in console: GET https://my-helpdesk123.com/scp/ajax.php/staff/2/set-password 500 please help
@ahmedzubair This thread is 2 years old. I really doubt that you are running 1.10. Please read the posting guidelines and start your own thread.
