I've gotten the error below after upgrading to v.1.7 rc5
Warning: strtotime(): It is not safe to rely on the system's timezone settings. You are *required* to use the date.timezone setting or the date_default_timezone_set() function. In case you used any of those methods and you are still getting this warning, you most likely misspelled the timezone identifier. We selected 'America/New_York' for 'EDT/-4.0/DST' instead in /var/www/vhosts/domain.com/subdomains/helpdesk/httpdocs/ticket/include/class.staff.php on line 61
I don't know how to fulfill the date.timezone requirement. Do I edit ostconfig.php? If so, what syntax do I use?
date_default_timezone_set() = 'America/New_York' for 'EDT/-4.0/DST (don't laugh : I don't know PHP).
date.timezone = 'America/New_York' ?
I've looked for examples on this site (which I can follow reasonably well) but can't find any.
Do I edit class.staff.php?
Suggestions?
Frank
