This forum was very helpful for me (newbie to php) to implement OSticketing system in our organization with lot of customization as required.
Thanks a lot for all the support and code modifications.
But now I got stuck with two modifications which I am not finding anywhere in the forum. It will be very helpful for me if I overcome the below 2 issues also.
CLIENT/User side:
1) To avoid wrong/unnecessary ticket request by client, auto response mail (with ticket-id, URL to know the status, etc. ) should be sent to the client and clients group head.
(My idea is, in the new ticket form, have to add a drop down menu which list all the group heads (to which the various clients/user belongs) and the client selects his Group head. Now automatically his email-id (stored somewhere--in a database or flat file) has to be taken and auto response mail shld be sent to client and his Group head.
This is my first requirement.
STAFF side:
2) We do not want to give permission of closing ticket to certain staff groups. Only have to reassign or post internal note without closing ticket.
Please guide me to overcome these two issues.
