HiWe use a form where the "from" address is our own address for email deliverability purposes. Is there a way for osTicket to create the ticket with the email mentioned in the reply-to so when we reply to the ticket it goes directly to the client and not to us?I hope the above makes sense.Thank you
is the issue in this one solved sitesme
sitesme You can do this with a filter. In OsTicket create a filter where if the email address is your system email address in the action system should be set to open ticket (reply to) the reply to address. I'm using this and works
The API is a way.
@[deleted]: Could you please be more specific?
Instead of sending an email from your form, use an API key and create the ticket that way. No need for an email at all really.
Example:. https://github.com/osTicket/osTicket/blob/develop/setup/scripts/api_ticket_create.php
We did this by setting up a ticket filter that specifies using the reply-to address when the sending email address contains our domain name.
Ooh, Nice. :-)
Thank you @PeopleInside , please share a screenshot if dont mind.
