Email Notification on Ticket Status change

I am using osTicket v1.10.1. I am looking for an email notification template for notifying the user of ticket status change. Eg: If the Agent close the ticket then closed email notification should be sent to the user. If Agent resolves the ticket then resolved email notification should be sent to the user.
Please suggest possible option for the same.


  • The only way to do this in osTicket at this time is to create canned responses with whatever template you want, and have your agents select those to be sent to the user when they close or resolve a ticket.

    This response is correct.  You can also use canned responses to make it easier, but you would update the ticket manually.
