I have a weird issue that existed in version 1.6, and was ignoring it in hopes that it would automatically be fixed in 1.7. Sadly, the problem still persists, so I'm going to reach out and see if anyone can help me get to the bottom of it.
I have one particular customer that sends in tickets via email, and they work fine from his computer, but when he sends new tickets or replies from his smartphone, the message body in the ticket system is always blank.
Emails come in to help@example.com and are piped to osticket. The emails ALSO go to the mailbox which is how I ocassionaly have to log in and read the messages from this particular customer to see what they say.
Here is the actual message from the customer, with domains and IP addresses changed to protect the innocent:
I suspect it has something to do with the lines of gibberish starting with utf in the to/from/subject fields, but I have no idea what this is or why it looks like that. My other customers' emails work fine and do not look like that.
